Alafia Foundation propels community leaders to achieve greater impact through coaching, educational opportunities and financial support.

Through the Alafia Fellowship Program, Alafia Foundation supports purpose-filled leaders of nonprofit, small business, and social entrepreneurial initiatives as they develop themselves and their organizations for maximum impact. Leaders of initiatives that are up and running and transforming the quality of life on the northside of Minneapolis are invited to apply for a 2-year fellowship. Candidates must be residents of north Minneapolis.

Alafia’s Fellowship Program provides each of our fellows with a monthly living stipend of $250 ($3,000 annually) and educational grants up to $2,000 annually to pursue professional development. Fellows also benefit from regular one-on-one coaching from a personal executive coach, quarterly educational workshops and an expanded network of support in the form of a local faith community or service club who sponsors them.

The application period for our 2019-2020 cohort is closed. If you have questions or would like to be considered for our next cohort, please email Brian Mogren. Thank you!
